2013 DC Water for People Hike-A-Thon

It is about 9:47 AM in the morning on Saturday, October 19, 2013. I am about to embark on an approximately 5 Mile hike through Maryland 's Wheaton Regional Park for the benefit of Water for People. Water for People is a charitable foundation set up in part by the American Water Works Association of which the primary purpose is to help fund clean water initiatives throughout the third world and to help provide safe drinking water to those less fortunate especially children.  This event is sponsored by the DC Water for People Committee, the Chesapeake Section AWWA, GHD, and ARCADIS.  The weather is partly cloudy and cool.  Perfect for a hike.  I definitely look forward to a great day.
